Tibrogargan Lodge now meets in Caboolture but we still consider them as a part of the Sunshine Coast, with fraternal visits and with the new highway (new since Freemasonry was established) travelling to enjoy an evening at a Brothers Lodge has come a long way since having to drive a horse and cart along sandy trails.

As Freemasonry undergoes a steady resurgence Tibrogargan Lodge has been blessed with a number of new younger members who enjoy a good social outing as much as an evening at Lodge.

Tibro FishingHistory:
Tibrogargan Lodge #305 UGLQ was consecrated by Grand Master Charles Stumm meeting in the Methodist Church at Beerburrum on 12 March 1923. There were 28 Foundation members, the majority being local fruit farmers.

Tibrogargan Lodge took it’s name from one of the dominant peaks of the GlassHouse Mountains. In all traditional legends of the Glass House Mountains Mt Tibrogargan is treated as the father and Mt Beerwah is the mother of all the surrounding peaks (children).

As the area changed the Lodge subsequently moved to Beerwah and then to its current home in Caboolture.
